ibotta rebate app!

I have used ibotta for years now. It is my favorite rebate app to use and the main one I primarily will share rebate deals on. Let's get you started in saving while shopping!

Here is a visual of the few steps you will need to take to get started!

2. Once your account is created the app will give you a tour guide how to navigate with adding your favorite grocery stores you regularly shop and offers you would like to add.

The rebates are not all the same. Some items require two or more purchases or have a limited of quantities you can buy in the same transaction. There will also be size restrictions as well and not all offers are the same for each store. Below are some examples:

ANY ITEMS OFFERS:

Periodically any brand items will be offered of a certain item as the walnuts pictured or even just a rebate for any receipt. These are easy offers that help build your rebate amount to reach the amount needed in order to withdraw.

MULTIPLE PURCHASE OFFERS:

The two examples listed to the right require more than one purchase. One being a Buy One Get One Free Offer and the other being $1 back for buying two products. As you can see one item is offering a free product with the choices between flavors as the other item is offering multiple items between the brands product specified with size restriction.

DIFFERENT LIMITS FOR OFFERS:

Pay attention to the offer details. At the bottom it always specifies the limit of quantities you can buy for the product offered. The two offers pictured on the side have two different limits. Be mindful of the limits because you can only be refund with the quantities offered.

3. When shopping, you are able to verify the items with the barcode. It will confirm if the product does qualify for the offer. Be sure to double check because as mentioned some items specify certain sizes or flavors of the product. Also, be sure the offer is valid at that store as well. Many offers are available at multiple stores but not all offer the same amount rebate or may be only at one store. Better to be safe than sorry.

4. Once you purchased the items, take your receipt and take a picture within the app camera to verify your offer purchases. Usually it will take minutes to load to your account but it may take up to 48 hours. You also are able to link your account for any of the groceries stores you have if you shop online to earn your rebates with your online orders!

5. Cashing out your earnings!

When you shop with Ibotta, you earn real cash — not coupons or points. That means that as soon as you’ve reached $20 in earnings, you can transfer the money to your bank via PayPal. You can also use your cash towards one of 150+ gift cards options like Amazon, Starbucks, Sephora, Walmart and Target.

How to Transfer Money from Ibotta to Your Bank Account

PayPal is a safe and easy way to send and receive money from friends and family, or even make a payment to certain retailers. It’s also a great way to withdraw money from your Ibotta account, and quickly get it to your bank account! Here’s how to withdraw your Ibotta earnings with PayPal.

Step 1

Visit the Account section of the Ibotta app and select the “Withdraw Cash” option. Then, select PayPal.

Step 2

Next, link your PayPal account with your Ibotta account.

Step 3

Finally, enter the dollar amount that you would like to transfer to your PayPal account and select “Transfer Cash”. You should receive your payment within minutes!

How to get a Gift Card with Your Ibotta Earnings

Want to use your Ibotta balance as your gifting fund? Or maybe you’re just a gift card pro. Either way, Ibotta makes it easy to transfer your earnings into e-gift cards. You can transfer your earnings to gift cards from over 150 different stores, including Starbucks, Sephora, Amazon, and more.

Step 1

First, visit the Account section of the Ibotta app and select the “Withdraw Cash” option. Then, scroll down to view available gift card options.

Step 2

Select your desired gift card, verify your account, and confirm the payment.

Step 3

You will receive an email containing your digital gift card within 24 hours.
